Parish Clerk & RFO (Part-time) to Nempnett Thrubwell Parish Council

Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer Vacancy

Nempnett Thrubwell Parish Council are seeking an organised, committed and proactive person to undertake responsibility for the day-to-day organisation and management of the Parish Council’s services and finances.

The role is home-based with attendance at meetings in Nempnett Thrubwell on the first Tuesday of every calendar month. Pay rate is subject to qualifications and experience.

If you are enthusiastic, flexible and passionate about our community then we would like to hear from you. An understanding of local authority organisation and management, although not essential, would be an advantage. Efficient administrative skills together with good inter-personal skills are key requirements of the role.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to attend relevant training including the CiLCA qualification, the cost of which will be provided by the council. 

  • Salary Grade: NJC pay scales SCP14 -17 depending on qualifications and experience
  • Hours: Up to 25hrs pcm
  • Location: Nempnett Thrubwell
  • Reports to: Chairman (for full council)
  • Closing Date: 29/08/2025
