Chairmanship Skills

A more comprehensive training session for Councillors who have become the Chair or Vice Chair of the Council or Committee for the first time, as well as seasoned Chairs who are looking to develop their skills further. Topics include:

• Standing Orders
• Preparing for meetings
• Running meetings effectively
• Time management
• Managing conflict
• Civility & Respect
• Public participation
• Taking actions forward with the Clerk and Officers
